A Day of Yard Work

On Saturday, we spent the whole day outside doing yard work (mainly Todd, but I planted some flowers). It was the first time Todd had edged and cut the grass since before winter. We had some vines growing through and over our fence that needed to be cut down. And we also wanted to plant some flowers in our natural area and under the tree out front. Especially since we are trying to sell our house, it needs some curb appeal! This was the best family work day so far. Mainly because the boys are getting older and can really help. T and T enjoyed playing in the dirt and helping plant some flowers. Taylor woke up from his nap saying, "Go see Daddy. Play in dirt." I think their favorite part was playing in the hose after watering the flowers. Here are some pictures of our little helpers.
