Ty at 9 months

I was going to post some snap shots of Ty doing some of his new "tricks" but I just had to put these 9 month pictures of him up. These are by far my favorite ones of Ty that we have had made. He is so smiley and makes it effortless to capture that grin. For each boy we have gone to Portrait Innovations at 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 months to have their picture made. I have a photo screen that I have to display them in and it's fun to compare the boys looks at these ages. Plus PI's $9.99 huge picture package just can't be beat and with our large families we usually end up sending out almost all of them.

Ty is starting to army crawl but still loves to roll to get to where he wants to be. He is standing with help and loves this position more than any other. He loves balls and has started to play catch with us. He likes to be in the middle of all the action, which usually means with his brothers who make him laugh. He still loves to swim in the pool. At our new house, we have a beautiful community pool with a gradual entry so it's shallow enough for Ty to touch the bottom when he's in his float. He leaps and jumps so much that he almost comes out of his seat. The first time we did this with him we noticed once we got home that his cute little toes were all scratched up. But he didn't seem to mind.

Ty has started to eat table food and actually prefers it, though we still give him so baby food for nutritional purposes. Last night he had chick-fil-a nuggets and loved them. He is picking up food really well but still drops a lot too. It's so cute to watch him gum his food since he doesn't have any teeth yet.

He is still a great sleeper going from 7:30 or 8 pm til about 7 am. Ty is taking two good naps a day averaging about 2 hours each. He is especially happy after those naps and we have the most fun playing right after he wakes up!
