This past weekend our friends Michael and Katheryn got married in Franklin Tennessee. Todd and Michael grew up together and were in youth group together at Dawson. We had a great time! Taylor was sick all weekend with a fever and what we thought was a virus after our trip to the Doctor on Thursday. But after taking him back to the Doctor's office this morning, he has a double ear infection. The poor guy has been miserable all weekend! He was quite the trooper all considering.
Trevor had the most fun. He was so excited to stay in a hotel. Aunt Jenny came and she babysat for Trevor, Taylor and our friend Arden while we were at the rehearsal dinner Friday night. She also helped us with the boys during the wedding. Trevor sat on her lap during the 20 minute (just the right amount of time) ceremony. He kept whispering, "they're getting married." And as we walked out the doors to head to the reception, he complimented himself by saying, "I was quiet, I did a good job!" The wedding was beautiful and the white tent outdoor reception was gorgeous! Trevor and Arden enjoyed running around and dancing under the big tent, mostly independently of each other.
Last night after we had been home for a little while, we were putting Trevor to bed. He said, "I want to go back to the hotel to sleep." It was fun for him especially since mommy and daddy were in the bed right next to him. Todd and I on the other hand were glad not to be back at the hotel, but to be going to our own room and bed!
