You would have thought it was Christmas....Trevor was so excited about his birthday that he woke us up wearing his new Spider-man shirt with toys in hand at a whopping 4:30 am that morning. Gramme and Papa had shipped their present to Trevor on Saturday and we told him he could open it on his birthday. Later, after putting him back to bed we discussed the importance of using scissors and opening gifts only when we are around. The five of us celebrated Trevor's day by letting him choose where he would like to go for lunch. He thoroughly enjoyed being sung to and the little dessert that came after our meal with cherries on top. That night we went to Moe's for dinner (his favorite) with Nana, Pop, Kim, Robbie, Jenny and Mamaw. We then came back to our house for cupcakes and presents. We are saving the Spider-man cake for his and Taylor's combined birthday party:)
